Have this old electrical tester…just wondering what it’s used on for testing?

It's the original Chrysler turbo encabulator! LOL!
MAN! That thing looks like something that Thomas Edison owned.

I am thinking it might be a production test rig for checking circuit boards prior to assembly of something like a Radio set or TV set.

The different set points and values suggest it is designed for repeated use on very similar equipment.

Power feeds in the top on the insulated terminals with black caps, and I would think that test leads are attached at strategic points from the brass posts.

Looks like a early multi meter.
AC DC volts and miliamps on the dial face,
6 volt max ?
Pretty cool piece.

...and the attachment points are labeled with different values, likely resistance?

The lack of Phillips screw usage pre-dates this to pre-WWII.

Thanks everyone. Probably end up framing it and it will end up as shop wall decoration.

Maybe (?) some sort of resistance tester
it has both
amps on the right side
& volts to the left

a coil or resistance tester was the 1st thing I thought of too
it's old for damn sure
