On the front of the K-Member of my 70 R/T Coronet is a oval metal plate welded on the front of it. It has the number "79" on it. Anyone know what it is for?
Anyone know?

it is the ID stamp of the last 2 digits of the part number.... "79" = 1970 B-body with 440 (includes skid plate)
