I'm wanting to install and stand alone shift light into the back of my hood scoop and wondering if anyone has anything good or bad about a specific brand. I've been looking at the couple Summit sells which are only around 50$. This isn't a race car so dead on accuracy isn't the most important, just a little reminder since the Sunpro tach isn't that easy to see. Thanks, Stew

I have an auto meter tach set in the instrument cluster. I removed the clock and set it in there. I mounted the shift light on top of the steering column.

I only use a shift-lite in my streetcars[they're bright and easy to hide]. A tach isn't needed. I'd stick with something that isn't chi-com, if possible.
