I thought I installed a Mopar flex plate to a torque convertor one time where the bolts had to go in a certain pattern (could have been '65 year model). Now I am about to install a 340 to replace the 318 in my '72 Satellite and I'm not sure if the flex plate bolts up to the torque convertor only one way or any bolt can attach to any hole? Thank you.

OK how to I determine that beforehand? I had three bolts tightened once and then had to start all over again (laying under the vehicle in can be a pain in the butt).

Put the flex plate on the converter and mark the spot they line up on before you put it in the car.
