Are the a-pillars and windshield channel the same on a 69 4 door Coronet and Charger

Can anyone tell me if the A-pillars Are the same on a 69 Coronet 4 door and a 69 Charger?
What about the upper windshield channel?

I have the 4 door Coronet roof with the a-pillars.

My Charger upper windshield channel, and a-pillars have rust holes, and I was thinking if they were the same that I could cut the upper channel out (say a 1/2 inch back from the top edge of the channel)
along with the a-pillars and weld them into the Charger.

Would this work? Has anyone done this? Or seen it in a thread?

It should work. The biggest difference is that angle of the windshield so the the A pillars are more upright on the 4 door than on the Charger.....

So if the 4 door a-pillars are at a different angle then to make it work I would have to piece it together?

The angle isn't very much and can be checked at the top where the break is pronounced....measure it in the door jamb area at the top edge of the windshield. Don't know of any threads on this....

Checked it. Yes your right, the 4 door A-pillar is longer!
