But not to argue positioning - love the diagrams! They make it easy.
My question is about the end caps. The event bushings I bought have shiny chrome end caps. I'm not a fan of them. 2 things that bother me (a bit neurotic).
1. The bolt isn't touching the entire length of the bushing. The caps are all that engage the adjusting bolt. It's just their .3" thickness on each end, so .6" vs the 1.9" of an OEM bushing.
2. They're big and shiny.
Are there other models of them out there without those "issues"? Has anyone blasted & painted them to be less shiny? Is there that much of a benefit that I should ignore my neurotic tendencies?
