As you can see from the pictures, these qtr window trim pieces are cracked. Can they be repaired for a reasonable amount, or should I start looking for replacements?

Thanks!!

I'll say, start looking for new ones. It would probably cost a lot more to repair & replate.

They are these parts:

3579443, which Tony's parts identifies as 71-4 CHARGER LEFT REAR ¼ PANEL TIP EYEBROW MOLDING, and is $225
3620480, which Collector's Auto Supply identifies as RF FENDER MOULDING, and $285. (ebay $300).

Yikes! Wish they could be welded and polished. I really wonder how they got this way???

Better yet, does anyone have pictures of these parts on a Charger? I've been Googling them all night.

I have a left rear NOS for $165 plus shipping.

They go on the ends of the quarters. The ones for the 1/4 window opening are boomerang shaped

I believe the correct nomenclature is "bumper outline molding".
They are made of cheap pot metal, which typically pits up horribly. Most rechromers won't touch them.
On the fronts there is a noticeable difference (and different part numbers) between 71-72 and 73-74 pieces.
I personally have not noticed differences on the rear pieces, in regard to 71-72 /73-74, but there may be.
PG Classic reproduces the fronts and rears for 73-74 and sells them for $175 a pair.

Pot metal can be repaired, but you will need to have it chromed after it's repaired.

Here's one from the right side rear.
