Hi I am almost ready for paint and starting to think down the road. Wondering what a good assembly sequence looks like after paint. Doors hood and trunk are off, car is completely disassembled except drivetrain.

Suggestions welcome!

If you haven’t been following my build is here:

1970 Plymouth Sport Satellite from Junk to......

I am putting a 70 Charger back together that was totally apart
The main body is in primer and ready for final paint
I painted the inside of trunk inside of interior inside of all window openings and firewall and inner front end area with no sheet metal on it yet
I plan to get the car all back together and running before I put the front end on ( no leaning over the fenders )
Get the glass all back in without the chrome trim on and interior together then tape it up good to paint the rest before bumpers lights and grill go in

I know my question is a bit vague. This is waht I was thinking.

1. After paint I would keep the doors and windshield off. Get all the wiring and dash steering column etc installed.

2. Get the rear windows and hardware in.
3. Headliner dome light
4. Carpet
5. Seats
6. Doors

What else am I missing lol??

Get the head liner in before front and back glass makes it easier
Great input! That headliner is going to be a PITA I am sure. Have all the cross members but didn’t number them when I removed them….

I found it from Resto Rick, just cut and paste.
