I need a fuel sending unit ground strap for a 69 Coronet R/T with 3/8 fuel line.

There are two available: 3.75" and a 6-7" strap.

Which one do I need?

Also, are they specifically made for the 5/16 and 3/8 fuel lines?

Thanks FBBO.

The one on my '68 GTX was definitely the short version. I don't imagine they specified two different parts for a 1/16" delta.

X2. The one on my 70 Road Runner was the short one too.

The one for my 71 Charger was the long version. The fit either side line, just crimp down to fit tightly with pliers after you slip over the line.

You might want to get under the car and measure, my 1970 GTX takes the long strap but I have the sender with the larger supply line and a return line also, not sure if that's what the difference is.

If you're not hung up on originality, you can do what I did on my '57.

As that little clip is a pretty shitty connection, I soldered a wire directly to the tube exiting the sending unit and crimped/soldered the other end with a ring terminal and attached it to the shock crossmember. Rock solid connection.

This .... or you could just use a 6" wire ( I use 10g ), strip the ends and clamp it to the sending unit tube and main fuel tube using small hose clamps. Good connection and easy removal ...
