What are you using? I see Quickjacks and good ole jackstands at the track. Before I buy quickjacks is there something else I should consider?

My car sits low. I use the low profile Race Ramps to pull up onto to raise the vehicle a few inches, then the good ole fashioned floor jack and slide jack stands underneath. Photo #2 is pictured here with my Race Ramp wheel cribs stacked against the wall that I use sometimes when no need to remove the wheels to work underneath.

What are tring to do? For quick service I've pulled the front of the car on the ramp door. How often will you need to raise it?

This what I do.
I only started having to get under the car regularly when I went to an adjustable clutch. I pull up on the ramp door, then put a race jack on the k-member for a few more inches. Then chock the back wheel. Probably not THE safest setup but it has worked out well.

Things like wheel changes, shock / caltrak adjustments / if something breaks. I want to do some drag and drive events too. Thanks!

I think a floor jack and a couple of jack stands will do it. I run 12-14 weekends a Summer. Many are double and somtimes triple races. That's all I've ever used. Pulled a few transmissions at the track and repaired them, a few flat tires, brake pads, ladder bar adjustments. For shock, wheelie bar adjustments, I just slide under the car. Of course I'm pretty limber. But I'm only 71.

I keep a small floor Jack and a couple of Jack stands in the trailer. Rarely use them. Normally I do what DVW posted; just put it on the trailer ramp door.
