What is a ball park number for hiring someone to replace a full floor pan (2-piece) for a b-body, labor only not parts?

If you use a resto or body shop you will be looking at $50.00-$70.00 hour.I have replaced a entire floor pan twice and I would do it for no less than $800.00

Depends on the place and price almost always determines quality. Last full 2 piece floor pan I did was about a day and half worth of work. That's cut out the pans and weld, grind, and seam seal. My shop charges about $60 an hour.

figure $750 to $1000 in labor and consumables... Then $500 ish for the floor. Its a lot of work and I have done it so many times in so many cars, its not hard to do if you have a welder? A friend of mine epoxies all his floors in, unibody he tacks some spots and the 3 m epoxies the rest...

No welder here, but there are some guys at work that weld for a living. If I tear out the old, fit the new and have it ready to weld.... perhaps they'll do it cheap for me. Once upon a time I thought I came across a pretty good tutorial on here about replacing a b-body floor. I'll try to dig that up.

Winters almost here, may as well start another project I'll never finish....

I didn't find any tutorials on my first search. Thought there might be some good You-tube videos, but nothing B-body specific that was detailed. Anyone know where I can find some a good tutorial?

I have found a variety of articles and posts between here and the other Mopar board. I feel like I know just enough to be dangerous...:DMAGE:

Ive seen people mark where the frame is on the pan & then predrill holes, guy that did mine drilled as he went in the car,he did a great job,had to use a lil porta power jack to push pans down good as they dont fit like original(AMD) but fit is ok on their floor pans,he charged me 400 but hes covered up so havent been able to get him to do any more work for me,Id hate to know Id had to pay someone over 500-600 to do it though
