Hi !
I have a 1969 Coronet 500 H code car. Registered with plates, 76k miles, complete, fully matching numbers, Vin Tag/Fender Tag/nice build sheet also - except carb and missing original rims (14" magnum 500's, they were kinda weird that year, I'd put on 15") .
Car is at former owners place still waiting for me to pick her up, I have paid for storage and work done so far. I wanted to bring her over to me in Norway but logistics are not in my favor with 4 kids and wife.
383 4BBL (330HP) , 3.23 SG, 727 on Column (buddy seat interior) - White/Black vinyl roof/Black interior/Black lower paint under trim if you know what I mean.
Drivetrain is still very good to excellent apart from non original carb- I suspect head work, a better cam and carb would get you far. I doubt anything has ever been taken apart there. 727 has a new gasket for the pan but still leaks a little a day so might need pan fixed or new pan.
All trim is there excepting I think a Coronet 500 emblem on one quarter, check pictures to verify. One piece of badly bent trim we have new or NOS.
Front end: many new parts there already, I dont have full list but car is registered and driven, needs a little front end alignment that I was pending for new tires and wheels.
Glass - definitely needs replacing, at least front glass, side glass might be fine, rear unknown...its there but not sure of quality.
I'll mention the interior is pretty nice, looks nice from what I can tell and guages are white not yellow. I think all gauges work. New foam inserts and new front seat covers, rear is original but OK I understand.
Body needs work and that's why it needs what I call total restoration. Frames are solid, has had front drivers side pan installed newly. Needs entire trunk done and rear C pillar (lower part) done and also work in the rear, probably rocker panels and lower rear quarters. Hopefully front quarters can be saved, a bit dented there. Grille is OK, I think its pretty intact, rear panel too is there.
Check pictures available in my profile, check gallery - I will upload more pictures, I can see pics of engine and interior are missing.
I would love to restore this car myself, I know it can look awesome. but I realize with 4 kids and wife, logistics are not being compatible with reality as of right now.
Price ? I'm in trouble there. I'll venture 10k, have lots more invested of course.
car is in PA, I am overseas in Norway
PM me if interested
