Cleaned and did a refresh on the original 833/23-spline with new O-rings etc. Replicated the factory paint markings and flat cleared the case. The speedo gear was buggered up & replaced with a good used OEM 32-tooth one that I found. If it helps anyone the O-ring/gasket kit I used was a Fel-Pro TS 13381-s. The tail shaft seal was a Timken 7300s. It appears whoever assembled or installed the transmission at the factory wrote their name on top of the case in yellow grease pencil (Photo 3).

Why is your RR a 1-of-1? I'd love to hear about it.
Me too.

What happened to the popcorn smiley?
It’s not a 1 of 1, or a 1 of anything, in the traditional mopar numbers sense. She’s just a plain Jane, low optioned ‘69RR. But to me she’s a
1 of 1 because of the memories she’s been a part of since the younger part of my life. Anyway I’m not into posting personal stuff on the internet, but I think u have an understanding of what I mean. Maybe I should have referred to her as a 1 of none…..

Between distractions, was able to get a bit more done this past weekend. Cleaned, lubed and installed the shifter mechanism and linkage rods. Used a bit of red grease on the main bolts & linkage ends, and anti-seize on the shifter retainer bolt threads and beveled faces. New spring clips & spacers. Replicated the blue factory paint marks & applied some Boeshield.
