I've violated a few rules here and there and am learning from it. I'm an enthusiastic person that often steps out of bounds. I'm slowing down some, but for many years I was like Speedy Gonzalez on Red Bull. My impulse control is developing slowly. If you notice me getting out of control, feel free to set me straight.
The economy has affected my employment status alot over the last 4 years. Maybe some members heard about the huge housing market slowdown? :tongue5:

I'm looking forward to learning more about these great old cars as well as passing along what I know about them. The joke about "Watch your spelling" requires a response: For a time, I was critical about the spelling in some peoples posts. I've since realized that I was being an *** by correcting people. I let a few people push my buttons with poor grammar and it snowballed from there. I'm learning from those mistakes and trying to move forward. Glad to be here.

I know it bothers me when people think they are better/smarter than someone else just because of some miss-spelled words or a sentence that is poorly punctuated.... There was a guy over on , www.dodgecharger.com/forum , that was a freaken spelling/grammar Nazi, he doesn't post much any longer...

You mean like, "Breaks won't slow a car down, but they will keep you from driving it?". I used to type "alot" until my better half beat me silly and said it's spelled "a lot". :rev_in_action:

I thinks you can use "allot" instead of "a lot" also, I have for years done it all three ways but, my spelling is from phonics, that was taught in liberal schools, if it sounded or looked phonetically correct you weren't marked wrong, it haunted all the way "thru" college... {I know thru is not correct, but I'm lazy} Thank God for Spell Check, I would look like much more of an idiot, than what I really am... Look at all the people "texting" now with all the abbreviations they won't be able to spell anything latter in life...

I got kicked off last year on the "What are you doing for 9/11" 10 year topic. I was Deployed and had to fly that day, all I said was I had to fly and hope to kick some rag-head butt. I thought it was pretty tame compared to some of the stuff others can and do get away with, but they didn't see it that way. Alot of b.s goes on over there, it's a joke!.
