Best Carb for stock 400 motor with factory 4bl intake.

Hi guys, I recently bought a 68 GTX that has a 400 motor (original 440 car). The Carter avs is pretty much toast. I need some advice about what carb will bolt on to the original intake and only need a little tuning to get this car ripping. I'm going to eventually stoke the motor or If I come across a reasonable 440 I'll go that route. As far as I know the 400 is stock and it's an auto. Thanks guys!

I'd try a 650 AVS.

That's exactly what I would use in that family of carbs. 400's were very down on power. It won't need much carb.
A large primary TQ would also be very good on top. If you you can find a good one.
