I'm looking for a louder set of mufflers for my Roadrunner. I'm 18 so you know I'm about the noise but I also want it to have that throaty muscle car sound that they are known for. Do you guys have any ideas of what the best mufflers would be? I was looking at the flow master super 44's but i just wanted some different opinions. Thanks

dynomax ultra flows, definetly best i have ever had, open muffler, nice rumble, drone is not too bad

MagnaFlow Wide Open on my Charger, nice and loud with hardly no drone.

I put asset of Summit street and strip mufflers on my 65 satellite it as a good rumble to it. my friend has flow masters on his 40 ford pick up but he said after hearing mine the car he's building next will have the Summit street and strip mufflers which is the 70 super bee we just got.

Well, opinions and more opinions. I've used Hooker Aerochambers in the past. Very good sound and they bark loudly when you mash the go pedal. Please use anything, but Flowmasters. They sound so tiny.

I have the Dynomax super turbos on mine, I love the sound but they drone like a bitch at 2000 rpm

I have the summit chambered mufflers and like them quite a bit. Best part was they were only $20 each....can't beat it and I love the sound. Haven't had much seat time yet though.

I went with old faithful, flow master 40 series delta flows.... They drone yes..... BUT sound great!:headbang:

Ultra-Flows on my 63 also. I like them because I race with the full exh system on the car and these are straight thru and make good power and sound good. Ron

Sounds just like mine :) There's a deep rumble to them you just can't beat... from what I've been told Magnaflow's are identical in design and sound the same but it took me forever watching YouTube videos to know that I wanted UltraFlo's!

I use Flo-Pro twister mufflers behind a mild built 440. No drone and little to no power loss compared to open headers.

Get the tittie twister 2000's

Just a high squeal if that's what you want.

I got series 40 flow masters. I'm gonna cut them 2" right out the muffler as I'm installing Hotchkis rear sway bars and there is no other way with my exhaust.

I may adapt a AAR Cuds side pipe exhaust at some point

As cool as that sounds, I don't see how it helps the OP? He wants to hear how it is THROUGH the mufflers. Not by-passing them. :(

Sorry, approach had QTP's closed. iPad.
