Have you heard of the Ravelco System? It's basically a cutoff system for all the electrical components with a complex wiring approach they say can't be jumped. I'm considering it for my 68 GTX. They come with a male plug that must be inserted in order for the car to start. Supposedly no way to circumvent the system. I believe it's about $400 installed. I'm also considering adding a pit bull wheel boot. They have one that's easy on/off. That would help with the tow truck issue. I worry, as you do about this issue all the time. I agree with the other post on the coil wire option as well.
