Bison vs. Camaro.

I applaud an artistic effort and get quite pissed when I see people trash talk it. Most of the time, the guys saying “ they must have a lot of time on their hands” is a guy with no talent to do what they are criticizing. I’ve seen guys say that about a custom
Car build when they rode a damned none to the event. It shows disrespect to insult an honest effort. I personally don’t like certain types of cars that some people fix up but it is clear that their owners are quite skilled and should not be insulted for their efforts.
“Creating” with an AI program is not something that takes a great effort or skill. Heck…. I have posted stuff I had ChatGPT did simply as a funny comparison to reality.

The real me:

I can’t accept any credit for these other than asking a computer to complete an idea that I had.
The wife edits novels for a few authors. Some have used AI to write segments and this usually quite obvious where the fake stuff appears. Her brother is a college professor and many students turn in homework done by AI and it gets an. F not just because they skipped the work but because the product is terrible.

YouTube is also pushing for the vertical shorts video format, I made a bunch of goofy AI car chase vids in that format just to see if it would get view, it does.
Some stuff you ask AI to do takes no effort or skills, but some other stuff can take a lot of both to create the prompt that gives you the desired results, so I’ll give credit to the people who figure out the more advanced stuff. I’m talking about all aspects of AI, including but not limited to just pics and video.

I am starting to wonder about the plausibility of the 'Views' given to the 'Shorts' on YouTube.

I have created a few admittedly, and I watch the numbers. The Views seem to peak around 4-5 days after the first posting....then hardly anything. I have watched a few of my Shorts recently and not one single additional View.
My Makita Brad Gun however continue to grow, as do a few of my wide format videos.

I suspect a lot of the View count is actually fake and generated by YouTube to encourage people to produce more.

It's not beyond a stretch to believe that YouTube artificially inflates view counts in order to maintain the interest in posting.
