Blackhawk down !

[Skytrooper]

Last night (6:30 is est) a UH-60 Blackhawk belonging to the NY Army National Guard crashed in a field nearby. All 3 souls perished. I knew these people. It feels like I have been gut punched as one of them was a very close friend. Names of the victims have not been publically released pending the notification of the families. Heartfelt prayers and condolences to the crew and the families they have left behind.

I have fueled hundreds of those over the years in GRB

Wisconsin National Guard lost an F-16 in the U.P. a few months back literally miles from my Mother in Law s home in the Hiawatha Forest

I just received the names. 2 of the 3 were good friends of mine. The third soul I did not know as he was new to the unit.
