Question… when ignoring a member, does the ignore work in both ways? I meant neither he and me read each other?

I think is enough about this guy. But is not just about me ignore him… is that I don’t even want he reads me.

I believe when you ignore a member, you just don't see what that member posts. But I think they will still see your posts. Maybe PM a moderator for clarification.

If a member has ME on IGNORE, I can post all over the forum and he will not see it. I can see everything that HE posts though.
The IGNORE only goes one way.
Moderators used to be able to make a member invisible to you by adding THEM to your IGNORE list. I don't know if they can still do that.

That probably wouldn't be my choice. But everytime someone that you ignored makes a post you'll still see ignored. You just won't see what they posted.

I suppose we all have our favorites and those we wish would stop posting stupid replies multiple times daily. Fortunately they aren't on FBBO.

If you IGNORE someone, the YOU cannot see their posts until you click to see them.

They can still see your posts. If you want, we can do a Forced Ignore. Just let us know. :)

...and I assume it is Bob..... I have conversed with him, and I have asked him to refrain from commenting on your posts.

Normally I would say just scroll on past the reply. But in this case, I have noticed there seems to be more personnel attacks against everything you post. So I would say put the other member on ignore and then not worry about what they post.

It's not about stupid replies in this case Tom. I've noticed for a number of years Bob Renton going after Nacho, rubbishing everything he says. Nacho is a helpful guy and knows a lot about auto electrics and the practical way of fixing things. Bob is just a theoretical know-it-all.
If it was happening in school it would be called cyber-bullying.

FYI I find your posts helpfull. Keep posting answers to electrical questions.

The deal here is, last reply/quote/attack was a simply non sense/no real reason. Nothing theorical or electrical discussion by itself where we can be agreed or not, but just for whatever reason. @Kern Dog is on that thread and can testify it.

Yes, I would like a total block or access to my posts to him.

Yes, I try to be practical on my posts and going straight to some fix/solutions (if any), from my own point of view or even my own personal experience dealing with my car using my tools (meaning also knowledge tools too). Can I be quite often wrong? SURE, well let’s talk about but… Yes there is a lot of theory around, but ppl wants straight solutions and when I try to explain I try to go to the spot. Yes maybe not in the best English, but I think not too bad either. Hey! At least I try in another language, while maybe he just can ask for a Burrito on Taco Bell. I don’t know ALL theories just basics, but if what I have learnt and made worked for me, maybe will also for somebody else.

However while I can stand points of view hard discussions, last reply by him really and honestly, didn’t have any relation with some technical or thread itself related. I think is enough.

BTW… I don’t even care still being able to read him… is true I can learn stuff yet for some of his posts, hence I haven’t ignored him, but this attack has to be stopped and the only way is blocking him from my posts. I have even clicked agree/like some of his post along the years

(That’s what is called being humble! You know Bob?)

About discussions, even Kerndog and me got one kinda hard discussion polítical related at dodgecharger board and we were both banned for a week… but one thing is a specific issue when we barelly knew each other on that moment, while this guy shows a constant sickening issue.

This guy is so obsessed with me than even @72RoadrunnerGTX and me talk about the same, with same or similar solutions for several problems and agreed in most of the ideas, he attacks me while likes Doug post exalting him LOL.

I have you and Bob on two-way Forced Ignore now.

Let me know if you have further issues.

Never heard of that but I learn something new every day.
