The temps got down into the 20's one week where the old 360 with a double pumper on it was hard to start.....now I have a garage where everything is inside. Had a garage back then but it housed two Challengers....

Block it. I think you mentioned that the intake is painted . An unblocked heat crossover will often burn the paint off.
