I guess they do have their place. They definitely accent the classic rides!!!

Must be an eastern thing because I can honestly say I have not noticed anything like this out here. Could be it is just something that has not registered in my pea brain!

I like them, on round tail lights.

this was a thing back in the later 50's early 60's I remember my older cousin having them on his car and a couple of my older brother's buddies having them. A radical move I suppose to be different. Thought they went the way of spark plugs on the exhaust to create flames from the duals sticking out a foot from the rear bumper and putting motor oil in your hair...

Ya know, that's something I miss from the local cruise ins these days. Time was ya'd see 2 old boys dueling in the middle of Main Street on a Friday night....

I remember the first time I saw them.

Hey, that car's brake lights are purple.....whoa!

In 1988, I put glass, hex cut blue dot lenses in the button markers on my 68 Coro, the diameters are same as the oem plastic red & amber lenses. Like little black lights, very soft, sublime change......one of the most rewarding 20.00 bills i ever laid out. I know im not the only guy to have ever done it bc i was turned on to the idea by a Friend. I wish i had pix of it......it was a soothing effect, not at all boisterous.
