Bought a 70

I have no problem with a 383,they are torque monsters.JMO You can run high RPMS on those babies. I loved mine when I had one . Nice pic of Luna. :thumbsup:
 
Rotating assembly is done. Verified piston to deck height, I have a variance of .001 to .004 below deck. I am good with that.

Cam installation and degreeing is next. Here is the cam specs, also using NOS Sealed Power lifters in it.

ok.... here's my update

after a long couple months that I would like to forget; I cleaned this disaster of a shop thoroughly. I must have been on some kind of a roll last summer, cause this place was totally trashed.

rotisserie moved to the paint room, and the Pumpkin is front and center in the big shop...... I need to bust a move, but all the hard stuff is already done.

I believe I have seen this car before. What part of Missouri did you pick it up from? Very neat car looks like.
