Bought a new truck today

I think it sounds like a great truck. The Japanese are very good in the option/reliability categories. Congrats

Not sure, looks like a short bed :)

I'm just jealous of you guys with new vehicles.
I did throw the $100 down to reserve a tri-motor Cybertruck. If it really runs 10's that would be pretty cool!

Yes; short bed, but it is 83" with the gate down and has 50" wheel well to wheel well and 60" to the inside walls, and a power rear window + led lights, stereo, and a 110 power outlet AND a 7.3" cubic trunk also power remote trunk lock and locking tail gate. The entire bed is covered with rhino like liner (no bare steel)
However, I do have another truck with a 8' bed if needed. I did look at and consider other trucks.

I was just joking. This is my 2005 Ram CDT

No problem; the first truck I looked at was a Ram, my friend in NY owns a Dodge dealership and could have gotten me a killer deal. Just too big to get into the house garage.
Yes, trucks seem to be getting bigger AND sitting up higher. Damn, it can be hard to load stuff into the bed! That is one thing I like about my Ram, it has the load leveling suspension and can drop down to a loading position. I thought it might be a gimmick, but it really works well. But I agree they are too big for a normal garage. Mine will never see a garage - too big for anything but the third bay, but that bay is for my Road Runner!

That's one of the things I like about my Dakota.
Lower and easier to load, plus the R/T has a factory drop (2" IIRC), so it's even a bit lower.

I have a bunch of school surplus "media cars", the type that tip over if a child climbs on them.
They are in 2 major heights. One is perfect height for a mobile work bench.
The other is nearly a perfect match for the height of my lowered tailgate (and is also a decent working height).
Using those means I only have to lift heavy items about an inch and swing versus actual leg and back straining lifting.
