So I have a new brake light switch. But the brake lights still don't go on. I wired the switch directly to the tail lights and the do work!
So what is between the switch and the tail lights? Does the wiring go up into the steering column?
Thanks!

Turn signal switch failure is a common cause when tail lights don't work.

It that a beast to replace?
It's not that bad of a job. The biggest problem is finding a decent replacement. I've been buying NOS switches because most of the repops are junk.

Where do you get one? I looked one up on Ebay and it was $400.00! Seems like alot!

Perfect dude! Doesn't look like the one on e-bay though. I have a 72 B-Body.

FIRST !!! don't go chasing a remedy, before you know what the symptom is... 1) check your grounds... 2) trace your continuity for the circuit.

HI, do the signals work?? if yes best check wires and grounds..
