Guys, could use some advice here. Am I right in thinking that I can upgrade my 73 Roadrunner front brakes to 11.75" using for example, 1978 Córdoba rotors.?
I need to know that they will fit my 73 up spindles.

The second question is that I presume I also need the correct brackets to mount the calipers that the RamMan and others list on eBay.

Is it that straightforward? Don't need to get this wrong as parts have to be shipped to the UK at some cost, but I do want more stopping power.
Thanks.

yes as simple as that

Bolt on the larger adapters and slip on the rotors. Rotors use the same bearings as the smaller and onto the existing spindles and same calipers (this assumes that the existing caliper brackets and new larger caliper brackets are for the same type... pin type or slider type)

Remember the larger will require you use 15" rims

Thanks Kernel, all seemed straightforward until I checked for adaptor brackets. It seems that the brackets to accept pin type calipers are near impossible to find. The RamMan on eBay re manufactures them but at a hefty $250 a pair.

I would not say they are impossible to find. The last two sets I needed I got for about $100 a pair with just a want ad here. I just did my Road Runner a couple months ago. EDIT: I see your in England, that does make it harder.

Thanks for the pic. I'm wondering if it would be cheaper to het a kit with the slider type calipers and brackets and be done. Think that would work? Doctor Diff has a view options that run at a good price if I convert calipers.

The slider style work just fine and calipers are cheap. I would talk to Dr Diff as to what brake hoses to use so you don't have to pay shipping twice.
