Steven: i had been doing that but that only narrowed it down dosen't give actual day. thanks

where are people getting fender tags made? will they know which options are on the tag and ones that are not? example: P31 power window's should be on tag but H11 heater would not be i would think?

A15 is the scheduled production date October 15 1968. Keep in mind it is not necessarily the actual production date. Engines are built before the car. Your engine should have at least the last eight digits of the VIN stamped into it on the passenger side of the block.

Generally, but not always true. My Bee's SPD is Feb 25th, the engine was built Feb 27th and the exhaust manifolds weren't cast until Feb 28th.
