Build plant location for W vin code

I’m looking at a 68 Coronet 500 with a W in the vin for the build location. I can’t seem to find where it was built. Any ideas? It’s on all 3 VINs: dash, core, and trunk rail.

1968 Hemi Roadrunner Fender Tag and VIN validation?

Your body stamping is upside down and hard to read. If it is G8W then the assembly plant is St. Louis. The 8 is model year and the W is the first letter in the VIN.

On a 68 the core support and trunk lip don't have the VIN.... They have the SO number..

I didn't mean to imply the VIN is on the rad support, as it isn't, but in 1968 the first letter of the VIN is, followed by the SO number.
