I am in the hunt - for a replacement front caliper bolt, as is illustrated and explained - within the attached picture.

I suspect, that my calipers were swapped out years ago, with parts scored off a later model Coronet, but don't know how to confirm.

In the meantime, I'm searching for an unknown replacement caliper bolt, based only upon it's description and measurements. I hate
it when this stuff happens. I was tempted to use the new bolt, with a few washers under the head/shoulder, to back it out on seat to
compensate for the extra shank length, if I have enough wheel clearance - but decided against it, in favor of getting the correct bolt.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked with the older, established auto parts stores, like Napa, who still have catalogs. Raybestos, Wagner etc, catalogs list parts with dimensions for finding specific parts.

For whatever reason, I have a single caliper bolt in my parts bin that matches what you are looking for. PM your address and I will mail it to you.

I replaced some recently and ended up with extras, so I still have the box. I measured them and they are the size you need.

I ordered mine from RockAuto. They are Wagner Guide Pins H5017. There is also another number on the box below the first number which is F76079S. These are made in the USA parts, and I think they were pretty reasonable...

By the way, the pins on mine were pretty worn, so replacing them all might not be a bad idea, depending on the condition of yours...

Good Luck,

Hawk

Thank-you very much for the info. I shot a PM to Outlaw525, just prior to your post. so will wait to hear back before ordering up new parts. You are right thou. I will be looking at all the bolts once the old girl is out of the bodyshop and replacing the works, if required. I am interested to know if these bolts are unique to a specific mopar year and/or model, or if they are common bolts found on many early mopars. This might give me a better idea of what calipers I am working with at this end. Thx again.

The pins that I referenced above were for a 73 Road Runner...

I have one complete pin type caliper off of a 71 r.r. The pins match your old one. My pins are pretty worn but it looks like they match early 70s.

Problem now resolved. A special thanx to Outlaw525 for your help and thanx to everyone else for your time and feedback.
