i have a 400 with 12,000 miles on it...ran great in a manual car...10 to 1 pistons m1 dual plane intake.bored 30 ...it has a 484 mopar cam in it... i want to put it in a 65 dodge coronet 500 ...i want to run a automatic trans and 2.94 -3.23 gears at most...its factory air and power steering and want good reliable highway manners... converter ,header, and cam suggestions would be great..thanks

Go for a cam that has no more than 225° @ .050, more lift and duration on the exhaust side, and a Lobe Separation Angle of 112 or less. You will need to do some careful tuning on it especially in regard to the timing curve because of the required milder convertor. I would look for a factory hi-stall, or something aftermarket in the 10.5" that brake stalls at 2K and flashes to 22-2400.
