To those who know.
Can a '71 Dodge Coronet 4 door sedan front fender fit onto a '73 Coronet 4 door sedan?
I know that the front running/parking light is of a different size and placement, but will the overall fender match and fit a '73 with no issues? Thank you in advance.

The differences I see are the marker lights. But that's just the obvious. You would have to graph the 71 into the 73. Other than that not sure.

Thinking like the Chargers… should “fit” but won’t match with radiator core support. Mostly sure some other unmatching issues with front splash shield with valence.

Once again, those are the issues between 71/72 and 73/74 Chargers.

Between Chargers There is another external difference aside from the sidemarker between 71 and 73 which is the wheel opening curvature is a bit lower on 71/72 than 73/74 (around an inch and a half). I don’t think Coronets are like that, but not certainly sure. However sure the unmatching radiator core support area is one of them because the difference is based on a diff shape due the isolation system added for K members between 71/72 and 73/74. This made change ALL parts related (inner fenders, radiator core support, frame rails… )

DUNNO if the related internal panels could be interchanged and use just the outer skin to make the perfect match. They are spot welded. Dunno if worths the money for a Coronet or if you are able to make it yourself saving some money.

There is ppl who has fitted 73/74 fenders on for example 72 (since share the sidemarker) and didn’t care get that area unmatched and with a gap able to make visible the front wheels. The next deal is the wheel opening moldings are of course non interchangeable and they are also diff profile (so fronts won’t match with rears), but those who made that, didn’t have moldings or were removed.

Thank you Nacho.
I've decided against the NOS fender mentioned above because I for one have NO TIME at all to make modifications of go through the trouble of fitting things if they're not correct replacements.
My front bumper which was a correct replacement and of course a direct bolt on, took me almost three months to mount between restoring and refreshing existing parts aside from some stubborn bolts and screws that were 50 years old.
My dog leg areas on both sides are starting to show signs of deterioration from leaves and dirt that were sitting in there for years. I now clean them almost every month, but the cancer is already on its way, so I thought why not start fresh realizing that these fleet cars are now more rare than some others celebrated cars. The rest of the car is rock solid clean without a spec of rust, just the front fenders are showing their age.
Sometime this year, I will hire my paint guy to restore the dog legs and repaint if I don't find a nice set of replacements.

If the problem is just the dog leg areas, those are “easy” to patch if needed. Any half competent body shop should be able to make them.
