May I ask why you would do this?How would I convert my big block 727 non-lock to a lock-up? Replace all internals from a small block 727? What type of valve body and converter to use?

Plus it allows the transmission to run a little cooler.It does'nt work like that. You need the input shaft and many other things, but it will kick out if you put any power to it..... its for fuel economy only.
I rebuilt a Clutchflite probably 45 years ago for a friend. I think it was a Art Carr model.To make a lockup converter with with a non lockup torqueflite it's called a Clutchflite.![]()
