I would like to find a paint chip/code of the color the U.S. Border Patrol used on their Texas vehicles back in the 1980's and before (when I was working there). Dodge, Chevy, and Ford patrol vehicles all were painted the same shade. Thank you.

Looks like a fleet color mix. Are those US parks vehicles?

Im seeing fleet color tcp167 by tru color.

Have you tried contacting the Border Patrol museum? Looking at a few cars, it looks like Federal Standard 595C 34325 to me. Fed. Standards would be the colors used by Government agencies.

Keep in mind. Those old colors used back then , are probably so chalky now from sun fade.

Yup that's where I found that. 34350 also looks close. @Dibbons If you have FB, try sending them a message on there. I read it was called Department of the Interior Green, but can't find it by that name anywhere. Maybe it was an internal thing. I wouldn't bet on it being a fleet color from Chrysler, Ford, etc. From what I read it was used from the '50s to the '90s. That's gonna span 40 years of different vehicle manufacturers. I would bet it's something like this Dupont Fleet Book color 63703-

On that Dupont 62073, it comes up as a fleet color from 1969 on PaintRef.

I sprayed a cement companies fleet trucks in that back in the stoned age. I knew it was a fleet color. But 45 years of stiffing paint takes its toll on the memory. :D

In the bicycle industry that was called seafoam green. Comes and goes in popularity. Right now its out.
