Two questions since this is my first one.
I will be swinging the engine and transmission in the car someday.
Does the Z bar have to be put in while the transmission is going in?
Or is can I work the z bar stuff in afterwards?
Looks like I've got to get the ball through the little hole.
I'm thinking a socket and use a press or vice to squeeze it over the ball.
Any other suggestions.

^^^^^This.

Before you completely bolt the engine and trans assembly in, you might try to verify the torque shaft alignment. A length of threaded rod run through the frame side ball mount can give you an idea where you're at.

do after...one less thing to get in the way when dropping engine/trans in
