went to a car show last sunday in colorado went to denver to buy a 1970 duster, had a day to kill before return flight so found this car show and checked it out. found a very cool modified 1968 gtx modified car that saw a top speed of 195.86 mph on the bonneville salt flats in 1976, ran by Roger Jensen. was a 426 hemi 6-pack four speed. and this auburn that was jaw dropping, of course the general lee was there equiped with dynamite enhanced arrows in the back window, 1970 original charger with the rocky mountain AAA sticker, superchargered challenger not to mention some cool gm stuff, a real 66 ss chevelle 138 car, 65 gto a clone yenko,

thats what i was thinking the duster i got just showed up yesterday in michigan seems to run a little rich but did in colorado also I'm sure I'll be jetting it down, any other changes for altitude? here's a couple pics of my duster its a spray bomb special but runs and drives good, gonna stash it away for a while maybe drive it around, who knows

69 GTX you mean.....Very nice X and once owned by a well known legend.....

Hey, my son was there with the Sublime Challenger right next to the supercharged Challenger. We live right there near Monument Pass. That's why we get wicked weather here. Please stop by if you're in the neighborhood again.

way cool that was my first time to colorado, nice place dry heat felt good instead of the humid stuff, will do if i get out there again, I'm always looking for old clean mopars, so who knows.

the triumph was parked next to me up the road thought it was neat had a rat fink sticker on it so I though it quailified

he put a 428 super cobra jet in it...

I'm pretty sure the GTX won Best in Show. Yep, that's the Challenger!
that was a very cool show alot of exceptional cars there, i limiteded my time there to try to catch another show but got caught in traffic on 25 and missed it:(
