Looking for input on carb choice for my mild build 440 in my 68 roadrunner. It will be driven on the street mostly. It has highway gears in it, I can't remember what size.

As of today I'm leaning towards a Holley 3310.

your feedback is appreciated. I have to keep it under $500

proform 750...alot of features and a great carb

If it's fairly stock and if it's for the street, the 3310 vac sec works right out of the box and is the most economical. Plunk it down, set it and forget it.

I have a mild cam in it and Hedman headers. It is a 727 automatic with reverse manual valve body

I'm running a 750 cfm Edelbrock on my street 440 and it runs great but everyone on here has a personal preference. I like Edelbrock/Carter AFBs mostly because they are kinda old school and I'm so familiar with them.

For Anyone interested in what I chose;

i called holley and finally did the hour and a half wait to talk to a rep for their product recommendation. The guy was very knowledgeable and thorough in finding my needs. I took his advice and got a Holley 770cfm street avenger. Used a online code through advance and got $50 off plus free shipping. It arrived just in time for my 4th of July weekend. Installation was simple. Although there is a $20 bracket your suppose to get for the throttle extension. I just made something work off my old carb. image.jpg
