I have a 1973 stock 440 motorhome home motor. Recently came across a very good deal on a holley 4160 (i believe) (6160-1). Should i use a spacer? If so which one?

If this spacer is to be used in the expectation of performance gains, spend your money elsewhere.

Ok so they are worthless?
Not completely. As Photon440 mentions, they can help if you're having fuel percolation issues. My vapor lock is gone.
Are you looking for a cheap power adder? Headers, 2nd hand intake and a weekend of slipping in a new cam and lifters will wake that baby up.
My good buddy used to run those 440 motorhome engines all the time in his '69 Dart. Fenderwell headers, a cam and intake swap and he'd pretty much be lifting the front wheels. Of course, a few weekends at the track and he'd be doing it all over again but man, was that car fun!

Before going into the roadrunner its going to get a full rebuild. Was just wondering if a spacer would add anything
