We had a good time regardless of the rain. We got there on Thursday and left on Sunday morning. My brother took 1st in the stock 70 Charger class with his orange/white Hemi clone.
Carlisle Chrysler Nats were pretty good

Congratulations! Thanks for your pictures. I picked up a 2nd. place a couple of times. 10 hour drive down, and then back home again, from Ontario. 30 years ago; where has the time gone?
Beautiful Chargers. I saw them both at the show. Roofs are overrated though this was my car in the T building more than a few years back.

Just sw this on facebook. Nothing too exciting, however, the orange Volare Road Runner was Hellcat powered.
Not a huge fan of F Bodies, but man, there were some NICE ones out in Carlisle!

They found some that were not rusted all the way through.

I saw the Volare Road Runner with the Hellcat engine at the kickoff show a couple of years ago. It was very nicely done and looked very neat and well engineered. I'm sure he has surprised more than a few muscle cars thinking his car was slow...

Sorry but if not a Pro-stock version like @mmissile or better,
not really worthy, rear wheel drive or not
I have never cared for them myself
even if it has a Hellcat in it, I just can't get over that car 'shouts/screams out anemic'
& you couldn't find a real muscle car
May be quick with a Hellcat, or even a nicely tuned/build LA or B/RB etc.
but just not into them, at all
just like the 75-77 Charger's/Daytona's or Fury's/RR's too
still the malaise/smog era of MoPar
Only the trucks/Power Wagons or Ram Chargers/Trail Dusters
or Pro-stocks were worthy back then,
even they weren't attractive, but they were cool & really fast
a few Darts/Sport Darts in that era weren't too bad
a few Jeeps etc.
