Hi,

I am looking for a Brand and Part number to replace my carburetor base gasket for my Carter AVS 4 Barrel Carb. I am running a stock intake on a 69 Charger 440 R/T with Auto trans.

Looking for a 4 Hole gasket and stock thickness .

Thanks!

HI if this is a stock application try and use one of those thick gaskets like above the Echlin 2-7599 has the plastic inserts so you don't over tighten the gasket, or the 2-7445 would work.. You want the thick gasket to help separate the carb from heat transfer from the motor..
good luck

I thought 68-69 used a thin 1/16" gasket based on the factory choke thermostat

Then 70-71 used the thicker 3/16"- 1/4" divided gasket based on the factory choke thermostat

If not running the factory choke , then disregard
