I have a set of Mopar Performance Valve Covers (below) that are in need of a breather grommet. Problem is that the knockout was made too large (purchased that way) and I am finding it difficult to find a grommet that fits the outside diameter of 1.5" and the depth of a 1/2". Anyone run into this problem, and/or does anyone know where I can get a grommet?

Have you gone to a "search engine" and typed in: Valve Cover Grommets?

I did and I found many pages of assorted Valve Cover Grommets.
Summit Racing, Jegs, NAPA, Auto Zone, J. C. Whitney, Dorman, Ford racing, Morris 4X4 Center, www.autopartswarehouse, Amazon, Mr gasket, Crown, Carpartkings, FelPro.

If you can not find it from one of those site, then it is not made.

Good luck with your search.

I have googled and may have a few candidates, but figured maybe someone had run across this problem in the past. Worst case scenario, I pull the valve cover and take it to an auto parts store and find one that fits...hopefully. Thanks for the info ski, much appreciated.

I recently purchased a chrome valve cover for the 77 AMC Gremlin X I am slowly restoring.
(6-cyl in line)
The Chrome valve cover is a larger hole than the original stock one.
I found the best assortment at J.C. Whitney, in fact, I ordered 2 different sizes to be sure.

Also, my local NAPA store had about 10 different sizes.
BUT, not every NAPA is the same.
(And I live in the remote part of the Mojave Desert)

I found this: Spectre Valve Cover Breathers and Grommets
