Cast Crank

Will they take a mild cam, and a few runs down the drag strip, just for the experience ? After that I don't expect to push it much. Your thoughts ?

Heck yeah it will! GM are the ones that gave the cast iron crank a bad name just like they did in the early years of the diesel pickups and cars. Mom's CI cranks are probably the best production CI units out there.

We run a stock cast crank and block 360 with a turbo. Makes around 830 hp. Also run mid 12 with a 360 in My wifes Challenger 4 speed, 12 years no issues.

Ran a GM cast crank at the 600HP level for years. I'd be way more concerned about good rod bolts before a cast crank.
