Is there a rattle can cast iron pant that doesn’t need to be baked?

I use the cast blast hi temp and then let the engine do the baking. Seems to be just fine.

Thus isn’t for manifolds which is why I need no bake.

I buy it at Advance Auto, less than $10/can...

Amazon wants over $14.00 a can with free shipping, they bend you over one way or another.

Go ahead & drive around looking for it... Burn a few gallons of gas & if your lucky you'll find someone who sells it.... For $7-8 a can.... Or click a button & it'll be on your door step in a couple days....

The only company that use to carry it locally hasn't had it for over 15 years...

Now matter what, to ship a can of paint is a Haz Mat.
I'll take free.

Let me ask this, can manifold paint be used on other cast iron surfaces? I have VHT spray and Eastwood brush.

I am pretty sure that’s what I have, can it be used for non high temp jobs?

Just to be disagreeable, my baked-on powders look pretty amazing on cast iron parts. Check out this brake stuff ...

POR15 is awesome for blocks. Paint brush. Cures rock hard and is resistant to all solvents.

I quit using cast blast on exhaust manifolds. I used a spray graphite called Slip Plate. Stays on very well. I put it on my exhaust manifolds at the beginning of 2019 and still looks perfect today. I've never gotten that from any cast blast paint.
