Trying to find your observations re Chryslers at Carlisle over the past couple of years. We have not been since 2010. Several of my friends went to All Ford at Carlisle this year, & were tremendously disappointed by the lack of older cars this year. They said that there were far fewer than in years past. Show was largely new Fords. So much so, that my Ford friends say that they will not bother to go again.
We are hoping that the same trend has not happened to the Chrysler show. We are looking forward to being back at Carlisle.

I'm wondering what your observations of the last couple of years are.

I have been going annually and haven't missed one in the past ten years. Since the Challenger came out there has been a large following for those cars that show up. I would still say on Saturday afternoon, over 60% of the cars are pre 1980. While you are there take a stroll through the late model cars, there are quite a few that are highly modified, and I don't mean 22" rims and stereo crap, but well put together cars that scream hi-performance.

friends told me that the mopar show is the best one to go to. more older stuff than your new stuff off the showroom floor. more venders to. had a friend go to the gm show and he said it was very sad. they got there and got to park right inside gate 3. hardly any venders at all and mostly all the cars were Camaro's and vette's. we go up on Saturday for awhile and on sunday we go to beaver spring dragway in beaver pa for the York us 30 drag and show reunion. it is all pre 73 lot a old super stockers, gasser, funny cars, and front engine rails. they also have celbs signing autographs. like jungle pam, linda Vaughn, and some others. great show gets bigger every year. had 67 cars in just the nostalgia super stock class racing. you should go.

Been at Carlisle over 20 years, and it's still good. The only negative during that time was the PT Cruiser fad, with all the bling crap, that thankfully has gone. Having a late model muscle Mopar myself, I enjoy the new blood as well as the old.
