classic car stereos

You can convert an old radio by yourself getting an Aurora radio kit, so you will cut the shipping expenses

Not excessively cheap, but neither completelly expensive, and you can built your setup as wished with several accesories

I don't see anything about a DIY kit on the aurora site.

...and no prices.

But it looks interesting.

I couldn't find any kits you can do your self on the links provided. Do you have another link

You can make a search just typing AURORA DESIGN RADIO and several providers will float on. Is true several of them don’t show prices.

Antique Automobile radios in Florida make repo 71-74 am/fm radios with bluetooth. A little pricey but thinking this might be a little better option.

I'm thinking buying a original radio, shipping to be converted, cost to convert, and shipping back would be very expensive. If you dont mind saying, about how much did the conversion cost?

The original radio I had, but the AM-only versions can be picked up relatively inexpensively. The conversion set me back about $450, if I recall correctly. Been a while and I've slept since then......and not at a Holiday Inn Express, either. I very much like the conversion, sounds great. I have 6x9s in the rear (used spacers to get them below the parcel shelf), and an adapter plate in place of the original front speaker that allows for the installation of 2 each 3.5s.

Thanks for the info, your Dash looks good. The reproduction radio is $675, so this might be the better option for me
