4 items from Classic that fit into a sockerball size box. first pic over $60 shipping. Weighed less than 4 pounds.Shipping has been going crazy and companies are using it to make more $$. It's only going to get worse.
Their shipping costs make me buy elsewhere. Example.....wanted a new distributor cap for my GTX. Their price wasn't bad but the shipping almost doubled what I would pay. I went to local Napa and purchased part MO20 (with brass contacts) and counter guy gave me 10% off. Paid $19.00. And yes it was tan in color.Item dual quad carb linkage $110.99
tax $ 7.89
SHIPPING 32.98
Insurance 3.95
Total $155.81 for a $110.99 part that will fit into a standard envelope.

Tax on goods and services. I could see that happening, I don't like it but I can see it happening.I recently bought a couch for my rv. The company that handled it (assuming manufacturer) sold it for a lot less than the WM price, but WM included free shipping I decided to go with manufacturer because even with shipping it was around a hundred dollars less than WM. Then came the news to me that Florida charges taxes on shipping. Even with the tax it cost me less, just didn’t save the $100. I think Pa also charges the tax.
Same with Year One - 30% off versus free shipping versus bend over versus find it somewhere elseI always wait until I find one of Classic Industries free shipping deals over X amount of dollars, or I use their 20% off deals to at least cover most of their ridiculous shipping charges.
I just ordered 10 bottles of whiskey and they charged me $34 Shipping from New York to Iowa. It will come in 2 boxes I'm sure and it was through Fed Ex so they may arrive in pieces.![]()

I did they did not have what I wanted.Did you check Summit Racing, they have free shipping over $99. That linkage part would’ve been dropped shipped from the factory.
