cleaning calcium from radiator

Trying the vinegar method tomorrow.Ill let u guys know how it turns out.

If you are bucks down, and not a madman, it is fine to use. Muriatic acid is used on cement to clean it...just pour gently....cork up the radiator outlets....drain it and hose it off a bunch of times..............Maybe use gloves

No big deal.

Well looks like the vinegar trick works.I filled the radiator with vinegar let sit for 2 hours and then drianed and flushed it out with baking soda/water then i took the water hose with spray nozel hooked up and drained it again.I also replaced the thermostat with a 160F thermstat.Refilled it with coolant 50/50.Then drove it on the highway for 15mins

A 160 tstat is too low....need at least a 180.

160 has been perfect for my mopars in the summer. Especially if going to do some racing. By looks of the needle, it is probably going to 180 anyway.
