hey, getting ready to buy the clutch/p.p/flywheel and bell housing for my challenger, looking for some suggestions on brand and type any info would be appreciated. 18 spine behind 572 crate hemi. there is quite a few choices but I figure guys here would point me in the right direction. thx Bruce

I run the Centerforce Dual Friction clutch set and an SFI Flywheel from them as well. Diaphram with easy pedal pressure and good engagement. I've run McLeod and Hayes in the past with good results too. I'm sure you'll get plenty of opinions on this. Best advice is to buy it from Summit or Jegs. Easy to deal with if you have a problem...

ok thx dave, never thought of summit/jegs I was thinking more brewers or passon but I guess it does make sense as I see on different forums what you said is true about the service there. I would just like to do it once and have zero issues. thx Bruce

corunna bird, I have a used Lakewood scatter shield with block saverplate and all hardware. weighs in at approx. 50/55 lbs.

hey thx cryplydog, yeah I was thinking of one of those saver plates, I won't be racing the car but cheap insurance to save the hemi if something ever went wrong. thx bruce

Bought an over the counter cheapie at O'Reilly's many miles ago. Sweet. No problems. Don't know what it is. Selection is overated. Fork broke, clutch is fine. No easy miles. This could go the way of the subframe thread. Lean left on a Sunday at Noon and open the drivers door. While on the rack. In Fall.

It's 5 o'clock somewhere, eh Dennis? I've got to start drinking more so I can understand these threads...

just some update pics of the trans install, don't mind the bolts from trans to bell I lost the originals and have to put new ones in. thx bruce
