For me since I'm not far from the company, Slo Roasted. They have quite a few varieties in their lineup. I order online and then pick it up when ready. They have it available at many local stores in the area. I used to make it a point to get some when in the area before we moved back up here. When we were living down south by San Diego, Don Francisco was my go to. Very good and inexpensive.

Guys I’m at the point in my life energy drinks suck and soda doesn’t get it, good tea is hard to find and I love the smell of coffee myself. I just think it’s so dam bitter/ burnt and I don’t want sugar water. Any suggestions, my wife loves coffee, I’ve thought about a sampler of various flavors.. any suggestions? Somebody mentioned someone on the forum is a supplier , any recommendations. Caffeine content isn’t the big deal it’s taste..

I skip the sugar and use table cream (18%). When I'm in the US, you don't have 18% cream so I buy the 35% heavy whipping cream and add less. I find using a rich cream cuts the bitter taste. That's why many big coffee shops use it instead of half and half (10%).

I buy whole beans at Safeway when I'm in there shopping
sometime from the roaster it's hot & fresh you bag your own
no name brand, don't know where they get the beans
it's different flavors most times

when the roaster isn't going
I buy some prebagged stuff
San Francisco Bay Coffee French Roast Dark Roast
(I usually hate most anything about SF, but these coffee beans are good)
no idea where it's from or who roasts it, I do know it's not Starbucks

I use to buy Black Riffle for a time

I will dr. up my coffee when brewing it sometimes
I like a lil' change
I'll add some fresh vanilla or cinnamon stick or sometimes both
sometimes in Holidays I'll do some peppermint or spike it
with some sort of Kaluha Bailey or chocolate creamer
just to have the spirit of the holidays, something different
I like it really strong, most people won't drink it or like it
I use 5 heaping scoops of fresh ground (from beans), for 12 cups
& I will take a cup while it's still brewing
then I add another scoop & pour the amount of water I took for my 1st cup
so it's 6 heaping scoops when all is said & done

weak coffee is bitter as ****

hot & strong, stand a horseshoe up in it

I use to do the press, a slow drip is just fine
or the Kruel, singles
that's a fucken hassle & pricey for what you get
I was a coffee snob at one pt. it became more of a hassle than it's worth

I still will buy some special blends/roast whole beans/favored beans,
when it strikes me
but mostly simpler stuff now

Starbucks (Seattle based Corp.) sucks as in so many ways
anti-cop anti-caucasian anti-conservative anti-free speech *anti-capitalism
(*unless it's for their profit, then it all okey-dokey, fucken hypocrites)
stupidly overpriced priced swill, served by a bunch of hair-bun wearing douches
"men" that can get a real job
not 1 damn dime of mine will go to them or any employee of theirs
all a bunch of woke ********
