Coil issues

I recently purchased a 74 Duster with a 360 in it i have went thru 3 coils in a little over 200 miles i need help with this please

Just a thought, I had a friend that had this problem years ago. It turned out his ignition coil wire had too much resistance, once he replaced the coil wire with a new one his problem was fixed.

There are also different ballast resisters also and the coil should be matched to its resistance value - or vice-versa

Fresh paint and piss poor grounds cause a lot of electrical problems. Could this be just another of many reasons?

Yep, grounds have to touch bare metal. I think everybody hates the idea of grinding away new paint, but you don't have to gonzo about it. Just bite the bullet, and do it.
