Hi all.found what i consider to be a rare color combo on a 68 roadrunner.silver exterior with 2 tone green interior.buildsheet backs it up.what do you think?

They look good in any color.. silver is cool! It’s okay to be different not all cars were red or high impact colors... that two tone interior would be unique for sure, you can always get a spray out card for the exterior and some color swatches for the interior just to see how you like it.

That is an oddball color combo for sure, I bet it wasn't on the "recommended" options list when it was ordered.

I have seen some strange combinations. You don't know if they were purposely ordered that way or just sales bank cars. The guy at the dealership that mismatches his shirt and tie is not the guy you want ordering cars for your inventory. :BangHead:

i know that back in those days ,if you wanted it bad enough and maybe threw a little extra money at it you could get it
The dealer in my town had an enduring reputation for ordering cars that went outside the rails. I wouldn't believe some of them if I hadn't been there. His '70 GTX had a '68 only exterior color. He carried it a step further with dealer installed stuff. Have you ever heard of a Hemi Road Runner with dealer installed A/C? The shop took the system off the 340 Formula S Barracuda the customer traded in, and replaced the factory air grabber with a '68 chrome dome assembly to make it work.

Silver works with any interior color. I'm sure red, blue or black were more popular.
Two-tone green would be fine with me, I like it (much better than black, imo).

Silver and two tone green? Neato! I love the oddball stuff. Hopefully you can put it back to stock.
